In this message from our Stuff You’ve Googled series, we explored one of the most common phrases people turn to in times of suffering. While it may be well-intentioned, we discovered that Scripture offers something deeper than easy explanations. The Bible doesn't promise that every painful event was individually planned by God, but it does promise that God is able to bring redemption, hope, and purpose even from the hardest circumstances.
This sermon invited us to stop searching for simple answers and instead anchor ourselves in the character of God. Even when life doesn't make sense, we can trust that He is with us, He has not abandoned us, and He is faithfully at work bringing good out of what was never good in itself.
