Luke 10:25-37, Matthew 5:13–16

In this message from our IRL: Faith for Everyday Life series, In the Neighbourhood, we looked at what it means to live out our faith in the places just beyond our front doors. Through the story of the Good Samaritan, we were reminded that being a neighbour is less about proximity and more about posture—seeing people, slowing down, and responding with compassion.

This sermon invited us to move past distraction, busyness, and hesitation, and to step into a different way of living. As followers of Jesus, we are called to be present and intentional, becoming people who reflect His love in practical, everyday ways. We don’t have to change the whole world—but we can faithfully love the people right in front of us.
