In this message from our Because He Lives series, Draw Near, we were invited to rethink what it means to come close to God. Because of Jesus—our great High Priest—the distance has been removed. We don’t approach God based on our performance or how put together our lives feel, but through what Christ has already done for us.
This sermon reminded us that we are not waiting for an invitation—we’ve already been given one. Because He lives, we can come near with confidence, honesty, and trust, knowing we will be met with grace, mercy, and the presence of God Himself.
