Hosea 11:1-11

This week we have our last look at the book of Hosea.  In Hosea chapter 11 the picture of God, and his relationship with Israel changes. No longer is it the prophet and the prostitute, no longer is it a man and his unfaithful wife, instead the metaphor changes two different images.  Frist, we look at God as a father - a raw, intimate portrait of a father's heart towards his children.  And then a picture of a roaring lion fighting for his children.  We close this series with a powerful look at the 'boundless love' of God for His people!
