In this opening message of our Who We Are series, we begin exploring the four values that help describe the kind of church family we believe God is forming us to be: We Are a Family, Rooted in the Word, Formed by Grace, and For Our Community. These aren't simply statements on a wall—they are invitations to live out our faith together as the Holy Spirit continues to shape us.
In We Are a Family, we explored both the beauty and the challenge of belonging to a church community. Family means connection, support, and belonging—but it also means navigating differences, disappointments, and moments when we get on each other's nerves. The miracle of the Church isn't that we're all the same or always agree; it's that, in Christ, we can choose unity and learn to practice grace, mercy, forgiveness, and love with one another. Unity doesn't mean sameness. It means choosing each other because Jesus has already chosen us.
