Hillside Fantasy Hockey League
Think you could build a better hockey team than the NHL’s actual general managers? Here’s your chance to prove it—or at least have some fun trying.
For the first time, we’re launching the Hillside Church Fantasy Hockey League!
Whether you follow every trade, prospect, and line combination or just know enough hockey to recognize a few names on draft night, you’re welcome to join us. You don’t need to be a fantasy hockey expert—this is about having some fun, connecting with others, and adding a little friendly competition to the hockey season.
We’ll start with a fantasy draft, build our teams, and then spend the season watching our players collect points while we make trades, work the waiver wire, celebrate the picks that make us look brilliant, and quietly forget about the ones that didn’t.
And because this is our inaugural season, there’s something particularly important on the line: someone gets to become the first-ever Hillside Fantasy Hockey Champion. Bragging rights await.
The league is open to adults and teens, and you’re welcome to invite a friend to join us as well.
Our Fantasy Hockey Draft will take place Tuesday, October 6 at 7:00pm, so get signed up, start working on your draft strategy, and decide which player you’re absolutely convinced everyone else is overlooking.
