In this message from our The Shepherd series, we reflected on God as Jehovah Jireh—the Lord who provides. Drawing from Psalm 23, we were reminded that God’s provision is not always experienced as excess or ease, but as faithful care in the very places where we feel most in need. The Shepherd leads, supplies, and sustains His people in ways that invite trust rather than certainty.
This sermon challenged us to see provision less as getting everything we want and more as learning who God has already shown Himself to be. The God who has provided before is still worthy of our trust today, and His provision is often revealed in the moment we need it most—calling us to walk forward anchored in His faithfulness.
