This Halloween we are going to take an evening to focus on blessing the world!

You and your family are invited to a ShoeBox Packing Party (with Samaritans Purse and Operation Christmas Child).

Operation Christmas Child is a hands-on way for Canadians to bless struggling children in the developing world by filling shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and other items. We collect the boxes and distribute them in the name of Jesus Christ to children living in desperate situations.

We are going to pack as many shoeboxes as we can to bless as many children all over the world as we can!

There are three ways that you can be a part of the event.

First, come! Come for the whole time, come for part of the time, but come!  Help pack some shoeboxes.  We will make sure to have candy available for the kids who come (so they dont miss out) and kids (and adults) are welcome to come costumes as well!

Second, donate items (or money for items).  We need to have things to fill the shoe boxes with.  So you can bring some items with you on the evening, drop them off at the church prior to the event or just donate money to the church (indicate that it is for shoeboxes) and we will purchase items on your behalf.  Want some ideas on what to get?  Click here - Suggested Gifts

Third, donate $10 to Samaritans Purse.  Ships, trucks, and airplanes transport thousands of shoeboxes to the countries where they will be distributed. Once there, local churches use many modes of transportation to get them to children in need as a tangible expression of God’s love. Your $10 donation to Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse, helps us train and equip local churches to distribute shoeboxes effectively, and share the Gospel message.  To donate to Samaritans Purse click here - $10 Donation
