DESCRIPTION:Our Costa Rica Missions Team will be serving from August 6–20
 \, and we're excited to invite our Hillside family to follow along\, pray 
 with us\, and celebrate what God is doing through this opportunity. This t
 rip is about more than travel—it’s about serving communities\, buildin
 g relationships\, encouraging local ministry partners\, and being the hand
 s and feet of Jesus.\nThroughout our time in Costa Rica\, the team will be
  involved in outreach\, community ministry\, school projects\, youth activ
 ities\, and service opportunities in several different communities. There 
 will also be intentional times of learning\, reflection\, and team-buildin
 g as we grow together and seek God's leading.\nWe would love for you to pr
 ay for the team before\, during\, and after the trip. Pray for safety in t
 ravel\, strength for the work ahead\, meaningful relationships with those 
 we meet\, and for God to use this experience to impact both the communitie
 s we serve and our own lives as well.\nBelow is a brief overview of the te
 am's schedule. Please note that details may change as plans develop on the
  ground.\nAugust 6\nThe team departs for Costa Rica and travels to Jicotea
 .\nAugust 7\nTeam orientation\, preparation for ministry\, and a time to c
 onnect with local leaders.\nAugust 8\nOutreach ministry in the communities
  of Jicotea and Dulce Nombre.\nAugust 9\nMorning ministry opportunities fo
 llowed by outreach in Jama and a chance to visit a local waterfall.\nAugus
 t 10\nService project day at the public school in Jicotea.\nAugust 11\nTra
 vel by foot into Tsirbakla for ministry and service opportunities.\nAugust
  12\nContinued ministry in Tsirbakla before hiking back out.\nAugust 13\nS
 chool activities\, a local cooking class\, and a team debrief with ministr
 y leaders.\nAugust 14\nAnother work day serving the community in Jicotea.\
 nAugust 15\nCommunity service projects and a youth activity in the afterno
 on.\nAugust 16\nTravel to Perez Zeledon and outreach ministry in Cocori.\n
 August 17\nTravel to Quepos followed by a team catamaran excursion and din
 ner.\nAugust 18\nBeach day and team debrief as we reflect on what God has 
 done throughout the trip.\nAugust 19\nTravel back to San Jose.\nAugust 20\
 nReturn travel home to Canada.\nThank you for partnering with us through p
 rayer\, encouragement\, and support. We look forward to sharing stories of
  what God does through this trip in the days ahead.
